A downloadable game for Windows
Komparet is a short first-person horror adventure set in the Northern Italian countryside. The story draws from a lesser known folktale from the Veneto region. It was made for the Italocurso 2025 Horror Jam.
It is available in both English and Italian.
The save/load functionality is currently disabled, so it needs to be completed in one session.
There are no multiple endings.

So, i was inspired to play by Niven. I was impressed by how the game looked. I liked the spooky atmosphere when walking through the field and you heard sounds of somebody else in the field.
Is there different outcomes in this game? Like different endings? What would happen if I picked a different card? Also trying to pick up the brick while being chased by that gnome was difficult haha.

Game's interesting to me, mainly because of the Italian Folklore. It has a nice buildup, but the ending was a bit of a letdown for me. But overall, it's nice to see other folklore horrors beyond Japanese. Keep it up.

Bizarre story with immersive atmosphere and intuitive design - just wasn't a fan of that ending.
For a game jam project, this was great. I loved the gameplay, the interactions, the slow build up. I knew those kids were up to something sinister. Overall, the sound design and optimization was decent. Although, the ending felt a bit weird, but I guess that's the folklore side of the story. Nevertheless - solid game.
